When
contemplating a new business, please consider the following.
A) Create separate household and business spending plans.
B) Resources of income are important. Is there a source of consistent
income? Perhaps your spouse works in corporate America while you
become the entrepreneur. Also, there is nothing wrong with keeping
a full time or part time job while your company stabilizes. A financially
successful business takes time.
C) A disastrous combination:
1) No savings
2) No spending plan
3) Entrepreneur was previously the bread winner in the family. You
need to balance separately the money coming in and going out of
your home and business to avoid debt. The loss of major income will
stress a marriage.
4) Current credit card debt
5) No business plan
The more aspects that apply to you, the more difficult it will be
to develop a financially thriving business.
